A very well run race event with lovely views of Dartmoor and down towards Bodmin moors I've been racing Peter tavy plod for nearly 15 years now and be back next year and a nice welcome from the village locals and a nice village fayre after race

Excellent event
All aspects from beginning to end were well organised. The route is challenging with more trail than road. The shorter distance makes it accessible to all abilities

Well organised and marshalled. I felt well looked after on the course. The course is a fantastic mainly off-road route of country tracks, moorland and woodland. With a great welcome back and medal.

Tough run but lots of fun!
We have run the Peter Tavy Plod as a family a number of times over the years. It is always fun and we enjoy the village fayre afterwards. There’s a great atmosphere: We live in Bolton and look forward to this when we come to Devon on holiday. Now are children are over 18 and our son came in third place which made the day extra special!
