Now in its 22nd year the race has become a part of the running calendar. Organised by Dave Chanter, the run takes place in tandem with the local Village Fair creating a great atmosphere.

Starting and finishing in the picturesque Dartmoor village of Peter Tavy the 5-mile route follows moorland paths and bridleways, offering stunning views while passing interesting landmarks.

Post race the village fair offers a glimpse into traditional village life with stalls, games and great refreshments.

There are medals for all finishers with prizegiving  taking place at the local pub who have supported the race since its inception.
